T.LAB Student of the Month
Miss. Alanna Williams |
Miss Alanna Williams is t.Lab’s “Student of the Month.” Miss Williams, is a gifted leader with great intelligence, creativity and exceptional leadership capacity. An 11th Grade Student, Alanna realized a composite ACT score of “30” in February 2018. This performance places her in the top 5% of all students in the US. Alanna’s potential and opportunities for success are limitless! Alanna is a fierce competitor, once she takes to a goal or purpose, she is driven to a successful completion. Alanna’s immediate goals are to realize Top 1% performance on ACT and completing Kettering University’s AIM program during the summer of 2018. Alanna’s favorite subjects are English, Science, Reading and Math. She plans on attending Spellman College in Atlanta, Georgia. Her plans are to major in finance and the performing arts. Ultimately, Alanna will acquire a Ph.D., in route to being an international journalist. Alanna is a gifted athlete and soloist. She performs on Detroit Renaissance High School’s Volleyball Team and traveling school choir. During the summer of 2019, Alanna plans to study the performing arts at the Interlochen Center for the Arts located near Grand Traverse County. Alanna maintains a rigorous regimen, over the next month, she will complete and realize a minimum composite ACT score of 33, the Bloomberg BMC Certificate, and the Microsoft Suite Certification including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. A leader in t.Lab, Alanna participates on the t.Lab’s microloan and African book transfer projects. She is humble, considerate, and selfless. Alanna Williams receives love, guidance, and active support from her parents Mr. Jerome and Mrs. Vanessa Williams, and her eldest sibling, Brianna Williams, a freshman at Kettering University.
